The Meaning Behind our Name
Our firm is located in the great State of Florida, which is home to several species of rays. The Giant Manta Ray (Manta birostris) is the largest species of manta ray throughout the world. In Florida, they can be seen around coral and rocky reefs and swimming slowly near the water’s surface. The Giant Manta Ray can have a wingspan of up to nearly 30 feet and weigh as much as 4,000 pounds.
Giant manta rays have been sighted in waters off Shell Key Preserve, near Fort De Soto in Pinellas County, and in South Florida.
Symbolically, the manta ray represents grace, strength, and wisdom. That’s also what our firm represents. We advocate for our clients with strength, intelligence, and bravery.
Florida protects the manta ray by making it illegal to kill them. Although they are certainly an exciting sight to behold, if you do see a manta ray in the wild, give them their space and don’t try to pet them.
An interesting fact about Giant Manta Rays is as they swim, they continuously filter food and oxygen through their _______.
